Jeffrey Coles began urban farming in 2015 and founded an educational garden academy for the youth in a metropolitan area and an urban agriculture development entity.
He is the Regional Coordinator of Urban Farms in Central Kentucky and holds a master’s degree in both Public Administration and Education from Kentucky State University. In addition, Mr. Coles earned an Education Specialist degree from The University of Cumberland and brands his approach to community justice as Nutrition and Agriculture fueled by STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). He sits on the State Advisory Panel for Exceptional Children and The St. Martin Village Community Garden board of directors.
