ST. Martin’s Village Summer Camp June 2023

Thelma’s Garden Academy assists Elementary, Middle and High School students in sharpening their Nutrition and Agriculture skills as they participate in the Nutrition and Agriculture Fueled by STEAM session of their Summer Camp. Students learn to measure; liquids and solids, heat in Fahrenheit/Celsius for cooking; cutting vegetables and avoiding, “hot Cheetoes and Takis,” when preparing a nutritious meal. Students also learn how to grow edible produce while balancing the elements of the sybiotic relationship between plants and fish within an Aquaponic growing system.
